Why is this season £39.99, when all the others are £17.99? Shame, as this is the season I wanted to buy.

Another excellent thrilling series of 24. This is Jack at his ultimate - none of the weaker sides we saw in series 3. The characters are excellent, not predictable, and the twists and turns and thrills take you to the finale in no time which is all fanfare and fireworks. I recommend this to any die hard 24 fan; you will not be disappointed.

Terrorists strike again, and Jack is off once more into a hectic world of mayhem for another 24 hours. The season starts well, with a good story and cast. I am not entirely sure about Sean Astin, who is a bit of a strange choice for the part he plays, but that's a small complaint really. The season maintains it's usual "edge of your seat" tension all the way through until the last half a dozen episodes. The story suddenly takes a twist that's makes for a great story, but loses much of the tension of earlier episodes. Never mind, because it's still a great season and, at this price, not to be missed.

this is truely a great 'tv' seies, bought 1-5 in the 'play' summer sale.
seems you have another chance to buy the series at a bargain price, if you followed it on 'tv' you'll know just how good it is, if you missed it, here's your chance, either way ir's a great possession to have. ( i bought series '6' at full price ) which proves patience truely is a virtue.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars excellent season.

while not the best, or even 2nd best (this is probably 3rd in my book) this is definately worth getting. emotionally it draws you in quickly because of the fates of several old characters but other lesser characters are onhand to step into the spotlight. Gregory Itzin is brilliant as President Logan (who is very Richard Nixon-esque), who only 1st appeared toward the end of season 4)! easily the best actor in this season, while the Glen Morshower (Aaron Pierce), who previously had smaller roles within the plot produces some excellent moments.

storyline wise, there are excellent moments, and moments where you think 'how the hell is that possible?!', but it wouldnt be 24 without those moments would it? regardless, at the time of watching, you probably wouldnt care much as it is very gripping.

not the finest season, but a worthy one. its worth getting just to see Gregory Itzin play Logan.

Yet another riveting, edge of seat thriller. I would recommend this to everyone who has enjoyed the previous seasons and anyone who likes good thrillers. I would say this is the best 24 series so far, purely down to the nail biting political plot going on in the white house....The story is so exciting, I couldn't stop watching!! FULL MARKS!!!

24 Season 5 is quite literally outstanding, when we look at shows such as Lost and Heroes which really started struggling in their second seasons and then look at 24 its clear that 24 really is on the ball. 5 Blockbuster seasons and the action is still as fantastic as the day it began. The show literally looks like a large budget Hollywood film, its totally amazing, make sure you get this and while your doing that, order the 6th season now, another season with a whole other bunch of totally nail biting storylines.
