if its going to have 3d graphics, they could probably be a bit less dated looking, and the options for short-form cricket aren't stellar. These are minor concerns though - definitely worth a punt, although it might be daunting for the casual player.

This is easily the best so far during the series. Those who say its the same are completely wrong. The game has come on leaps and bounds even compared to last year which was woefully poor. The future is now much more balanced in the future unlike previous versions. The graphics are nowhere near as poor as before alot more realistic. There was been significant improvements to the gameplay and is much more realistic in terms of how well teams do. There is also a roster update in the near future to iron out the few database issues that it has.
In all the best Cricket Strategy Simulator Ever!

This game has not moved on since the first one. The gameplay is identical and the match engine has now become farcical. The biggest let down for me is the way in which rain interuptions somehow ignore lunch and tea and eat into the next session. This was the same in the original title. This series needs a major overhaul. How about the inclusion of youth teams and second teams you can actually control and a match engine which is not laughable. ICC could pick up some useful pointers from the FM series. The tactical side is the thing I am most let down by. Every preset field involves slips and short legs even in one day games. In todays game of 20/20 etc. this should really have been addressed. People will moan and say that you can set your own fields but surely the developers could have altered the fields from previous editions. Overall a real disappointment. I feel ripped off by the developers in that there has been no real development since the first title.
