The latest offering from the Crue show that the beast within them is still very much alive and kicking ass. One up on Dr. Feelgood in my humble opinion. Long live the Saints Of Los Angeles.

This is excellent. Cut the over analysing, if you like the Crue sound, you like Feelgood etc, you will love this.
Great music, good lyrics, new anthems. Only thing missing is a real killer ballad, but who cars when all tracks are excellent.
Enjoy music & remember those days.

This is most likely one of the best albums out this year, i think that the only better album that will be released in my oppinion will be Death Magnetic by Metallica. Funny how all the old bands from the 80's are dominating now huh?

Basically with this album you an hear that Mick has got his guitar chops back. There is some great riffs on the title track, Saints of Los Angeles. But Going out Swinging is awesome aswell.

Vince is singing pretty well on this album too and the drums are brutal and typical energetic tommy lee.

Lastly, the lyrics are pretty good! the cd is loosly based on the book, "the dirt" and if you have read it you can relate to the various chapters by listening to the lyrics.

All in all i think that all of the band are on form again after putting all their problems behind them, Its also nice tot see Mick doing alot of the press on the album, finnally hearing from the IT :)

10/10

This just keeps getting better and better for each time i spin it. I discover a new riff each time.
As long as you don't compare it to the above mentioned, this is as good as it gets so far this year.....
I'm a big Crüe head and have been for many years. This is how Mötley should sound like today in the year 2008. This is not 1988!!!

The album has a handful of decent tracks, but I cannot believe this is the best they could come up with. Having said that, most of the album was written by Sixx.AM.

Wow, Wow and Wow.

Okay some of the lyrics and riffs are cheesy and that people may think that they were better in the 80's. Well, possibly, but never the less these guys know how to produce and great rock album that caters not only for the die hard crue's but new fans alike. I remeber first hearing Girls Girls Girls back in 86/87 when i was just 16. Motley Crue blew me away then and they blow me away now. After reading Nikke Sixx's autobiography, each and every lyric that he writes can have meanings either way . Micks guitiar still sounds great if not a little dated, but then what these guys managed to pump in them back in the 80's its a wonder that any of them can play or sing a damn thing!! THESE GUYS MUST COME TO THE UK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Pop is dead LONG LIVE ROCK !!!!!! Buy this album or miss out on another classic
