Plays mkvs, dts so far superior to ps3 and designed solely for purpose.

For another £70 you can get a NMT which can have its own hard disk but this is great for just streaming over a network

Customer rating: 2 out of 5 stars Is it good value?

Sure a Playstation 3 has pretty much all the same features and a Blu-ray player on that of that.

Can this stream DVR-MS files as written by Windows Media Center directly? My KISS 1600 can't do this! If it can, I'll buy two!

In response to the previous question, yes it plays MKV's no problem with DD and DTS playback.

Brilliant bit of kit.

Hi just a quick question does this find and stream mkv files?

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Possibly the best thing I've ever bought.

I've been looking for a network player for some time, particularly one that is DLNA server certified to stream from a Buffalo Linkstation Live.
This one has surpassed all my expectations. Easy to setup and easy to use, will play practically anything and best of all it will stream from pretty much any shared folder on your network.
You do not need to be running any sort of media server software at all, so I didn't need to worry about DNLA anyway.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Superb Wireless Streamer

Fantastic piece of kit. Surprised at how easy it was to setup. Plays everything I have thrown at it with no problems. Firmware update is a must though.
